lyrics
The most beautiful girl in the universe
Beautiful like a hearse
She left me cursed
My course reversed, what's happened to the planet Earth, whoa
The blue-green planet Earth
I stood enthralled, maybe overawed
At the way she filled the silence
The four winds called, she left her thrall
And possessions all
Entombed in absence
On an arid, desert walkabout
Aspirations all, now have my doubt
I can see my guarded optimism
Through a prism
And, barring cataclysm
I - - - - -
I'm but a stone
(Sum Sum Summertime
Summer time, I stand alone
Just like a stone in the sun
Sum Sum Summertime
Summer time, everyone's gone
I'm but a stone in the sun)
(Solo)
Were the seas were to rise, if the mountains shook
I'd face them, rather than her coldest
look
Even so, I'm cast aside
On a Daliesque landscape, vast, & wide
On an arid, desert walkabout
Aspirations all, now have my doubt
I can see my guarded optimism
Through a prism
And, barring cataclysm
I - - - - - -
I'm but a stone
Sum Sum Summertime
Summer time, I stand alone
Just like a stone in the sun
(solo)
Sum Sum Summertime
Summer time, I stand alone
I'm but a stone in the sun
I - - - - - -
I'm but a stone in the sun
Sum Sum Summertime
Summer time, everyone's gone
I'm but a stone in the sun
Formed by Dave Thomas in 2013, with itinerant workers from the arid Eucalyptus Valley of Norway. Dave soon chained them in
his studio basement and made them record rock songs against their will. Soon they became docile and escaped, but this recording remains as a legacy of their indentured servitude, and malice....more
